Diabeteracy: A visual system for the illiterate diabetics

Diabeteracy is a two-part visual system, that aims to facilitate the understanding and treatment of diabetes to illiterate diabetics in Chiapas. The first part is an integrative learning tool patients use during their group appointments. The second part is an analog food tracking system that enables patients to eat in a way that favors their condition with ease.

 A written manual has been designed to provide the caregivers with the necessary information to lead the playing sessions during the group consultations.
